What Is AdvancePay?

AdvancePay is a prepaid collect calling service offered by GTL through ConnectNetwork that allows family members to fund a calling account linked to their phone number so an inmate can call them. You deposit money into your AdvancePay account and when the inmate calls your registered number, the cost is deducted from your balance. AdvancePay works with all phone types including cell phones. It is the most common way families receive calls from state prison inmates.

A family member creates a free ConnectNetwork account, adds their phone number, and deposits $25 into their AdvancePay account. When their loved one calls from the facility, the call connects and per-minute charges are deducted from the $25 balance.
