Travis County Correctional Complex Inmate Communication Overview
The Travis County Correctional Complex (TCCC) in Del Valle, Texas, is the main jail facility for Travis County, operated by the Travis County Sheriff's Office and serving the Austin area. All TCCC and Travis County Jail on-site visits are administered at the Del Valle complex at 3614 Bill Price Road.
The sheriff's office issues wireless tablets to inmates through GettingOut, which provide messaging, video visits and multimedia content like education and vocational training. Families create an account at gettingout.com to message and fund tablet use. Face-to-face visits and on-site video visits are scheduled separately through ViaPath Technologies, the GTL visit-scheduling platform, at gtlvisitme.com, at least 24 hours in advance.
Phone calls run on the ViaPath/GTL phone system, with prepaid AdvancePay accounts available for families. Visitors are allowed two visits per week, face-to-face or on-site video, and must arrive at least 30 minutes early with a government-issued photo ID. The sheriff's office main line is (512) 854-9770.
