Approved Contact List
An approved contact list is the list of people an inmate is authorized to communicate with through phone calls, messages, or visits.
What Is Approved Contact List?
An approved contact list is the list of people an inmate is authorized to communicate with through phone calls, messages, or visits. Inmates submit the names and contact information of approved contacts, and the facility reviews and approves them before communication can begin. The number of approved contacts is typically limited to 20 or fewer. Family members must be on this list before they can receive calls or exchange messages with an inmate.
When someone arrives at an Indiana state prison, they are allowed to list up to 20 approved phone contacts. A family member not on this list cannot receive calls regardless of whether they have a funded ConnectNetwork account.
